But of course, there are times where we want to test something quickly, and that’s where BUGS come in handy! We are happy to announce the release of Carla MailMerge 2.6.0-1! Available for download!

The MailMerge SDK is a framework for building and distributing plugins for carla. It comes with a set of GUI widgets and a tiny C++ library that can be used to implement your own plugin as well. In addition, it contains some handy tools that make it easy to build plugins for the Carla plugin export format (CPL). MailMerge works with the latest version of the Carla SDK, and is fully compatible with the protocol used in the master branch backend.

MailMerge is mostly up to date with the master branch. Everything is tested and works for now, but there might be some regressions here and there. It might also be missing some features from the master branch backend, or alternatively, some of the features might be hidden behind some bugs which we are not aware of yet.So it's still a bit of a work in progress and if at all I said I would fix something make sure to do it yourself! I'm trying to test it, but there might be some weird stuff happening when using buttons or the editor tool that might be additional work in the future.

I hope it's pretty obvious that MailMerge features are not complete or well tested at this stage. Try it out though, it works pretty good on Linux and Mac OS X. The linux version will be available for download soon. d2c66b5586
